Course description Advanced maintenance level 3 This course is aimed at Advanced machine operators and SMT process technicians. The Level 2 course must have been completed prior to undertaking this level. Some prior knowledge of the PCB assembly process, electro- mechanical skills, and a reasonable grounding in precision mechanics, would be useful, but not a pre-requisite. Normally held at a Europlacer training facility. Over the 2 days the more advanced systems will be introduced. By the end of the course the engineer should be competent in the advanced maintenance operations and the automatic head calibration. The Engineer should be able to assist with advanced diagnostics while talking to Europlacer remote support and to deal with simpler breakdowns independently. To carry out fault finding, repairs, replacement of motors, encoders, nozzle holders and setup the vision system.
